ACRL/Harvard Leadership Institute Scholarship – Apply by March 1

ACRL announces the availability of a scholarship to support participation at the 2011 ACRL/Harvard Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians. The scholarship covers the cost of tuition ($2,500) and a $1,500 travel stipend. In support of ACRL’s commitment to librarians serving diverse communities, the scholarship is for individuals currently working in Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Tribal Colleges or Universities, or those employed at Hispanic Serving Institutions.

About the Institute
The Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians is an intensive program held on the campus of Harvard University. The goal of the institute is to increase your capacity to lead and to manage. Participants work with program faculty and with other participants-testing new ideas and developing new strategies for taking institutions into the future. The Institute will be held in Cambridge, Massachusetts, July 31 – August 5, 2011.
