ACRL Podcast: Participatory Democracy in an Internet Age

On June 26, 2010, the ACRL Law and Political Science Section (LPSS) presented a program entitled “Participatory Democracy in an Internet Age” at the 2010 ALA Annual Conference. The program focused on how the Internet is transforming participation in the political process. The podcast contains an audio recording of the program featuring speakers Bryce Cullinane, deputy director of the Institute for Politics, Democracy and the Internet at George Washington University; Dave Karpf, assistant professor in the School of Communication and Information at Rutgers University and visiting fellow at the Yale Information Society Project; and Decker Ngongang, vice president of programs for The program was moderated by Evan J.
