Unique new blog launches today
It’s a peer-reviewed* blog with a team of visionary new librarians as its founders.
In the Library with the Lead Pipe is a team blog by six librarians working in academic, public, and school libraries across the United States. Four are alumni of ALA’s Emerging Leaders program and one is a 2008 Library Journal “Mover & Shaker.” The blog is intended to help improve our communities, our libraries, and our professional organizations by exploring new ideas, starting conversations, documenting concerns, and arguing for solutions.
In addition to essays by its founders, In the Library with the Lead Pipe will feature articles by guests representing special libraries and archives, as well as educators, administrators, library support staff, and community members.
Join the conversation! Comment on a post or — if you have visionary ideas you’d like to share — contact the authors to volunteer to write a guest post.
*Each post is peer-reviewed by one external and one internal reviewer.
