Tracking the Elusive Undergraduate Non-User
Generally, obtaining library use and satisfaction information from library users is not particularly difficult. Finding information about non-users of the library is quite another matter. Triangulating data from three information sources (Senior Surveys, LibQUAL+®, and instruction statistics) indicates correlation between instruction and reported rates of library usage. The results can assist instruction and outreach librarians in identifying specific programs to target that may benefit from some attention.
