Service Equity in Action [video replay]
On Feb. 25, 2020 the ACRL University Libraries Section Public Services Directors of Large Research Libraries Discussion Group held an online discussion addressing the following questions about service equity:
- What does service equity look like in practice at your library?
- Has your library engaged in public services projects, programming, or staff development in order to provide more equitable services for all?
The discussion began with three panelists describing ways their libraries embrace the values of equity, diversity, and inclusion in public service practice through space design, programming, and professional development. Following the panel, participants shared in an open discussion information projects and programming at their libraries.
