Outreach Programming for Themed Events
The ULS Academic Outreach Committee offers a series of Online Roundtable Discussions on topics related to Academic Outreach endeavors.
The next week of discussions begins February 8th. Each discussion will last 1 hour and be limited to 12 participants and 1 facilitator (like a face-to-face roundtable discussion).
February’s Topic: Outreach Programming for Themed Events
This month’s discussion will focus on how libraries can use themed events, such as National Library Week, Women’s History Month, and African American History Month, to create awareness of their services and resources. We will talk about a variety of upcoming events, share programming ideas, successes and lessons learned, and discuss the logistics of specific events. Join us for a lively discussion and leave with great ideas for future programming.
