Introduction to Augmented Reality for and by Librarians [video replay]
This video is about augmented reality for and by librarians with the presenters focusing on what augmented reality is, how people are using it, a plan to use it, comparison of 4-5 related applications, and a demonstration of a specific library orientation.
Augmented reality has been gaining increasing popularity among major conferences, both on-site one and those online. Engineering and Data Services Librarian Samuel Dyal will be giving a foundational presentation on what augmented reality is, how people are using it and plan to use it. Research & Instruction Librarian Dina Meky will compare 4-5 related applications. Library Director Bill McNelis and Student Success Librarian Samantha Kannegiser will present the specific orientation that was created with augmented reality, with an emphasis on HP Reveal.
