Be a Mentor through the ACRL ULS On-the-Fly Mentoring Program @ ALA Midwinter 2020
Want to help someone new to the profession, or more experienced but seeking your wisdom? Sign up to be a mentor!
The University Library Section (ULS) Membership Committee is providing its
“On-the-Fly” Mentoring Service, which allows a mentee to talk with a mentor for
a 20-minute session, on a drop-in basis. We need experienced librarians to help
those new to the profession, or looking for career advice.
Based in the Placement Center at the Philadephia Convention Center, the service
is available during these windows of time:
Saturday, 1/25: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Sunday, 1/26: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
At Midwinter 2019, we had a great turnout of people wanting to be mentored but only a few mentors. Please consider sharing your time and expertise!
