2011 ALA Midwinter Discussion–Strategic Planning During Budget Difficulties
We are all dealing with difficult budget times. How has strategic planning helped? Are you engaging in strategic planning now? How is the budget influencing that process? How has an existing strategic plan helped decision making when facing budget cuts?
The ULS Current Topics Discussion group is seeking someone to kick off a discussion of strategic planning in difficult budget times. The session will be on Saturday from 1:30-3:30. We don’t need a formal presentation, just 10-15 minutes to get the discussion started. Personal experience is fine – you don’t need to be an expert in strategic planning. If you are interested please let me know (mailto:lburtle@gsu.edu ).
If you are interested in the topic but don’t want to kick off our discussion, please considering attending the session on Saturday 1:30-3:30 in HIL- Sapphire 400.
Thanks.
