ACRL has released “Value of Academic Libraries: A Comprehensive Research Review and Report,” a comprehensive review providing academic librarians with a clearer understanding of what research about the performance of academic libraries already exists, where gaps in this research occur, and identifying the most promising best practices and measures correlated to performance.

In this podcast, report author Megan Oakleaf of the Syracuse University iSchool and ACRL President Lisa Hinchliffe discuss the report, the variety of ways to communicate the value of academic libraries, and how academic librarians can become leaders in campus value and assessment.
