Student Response Systems OnPoint Chat

Join Emily Rimland and Alice Whiteside of Penn State University at 12:00 p.m. Central on August 10, 2011, for an ACRL OnPoint Chat to discuss the next generation of student response systems. Many instruction librarians are familiar with student response systems (a.k.a. clickers) as tools for engaging students and assessing their learning during instruction sessions. This chat will introduce the web-based tool Poll Everywhere as an example of a next generation student response system, discuss advantages of a web-based tool, and describe how to get started with it in the classroom. Come share your experiences with your peers!
