Help ACRL Better Understand How to Support/Promote Core Organizational Values

September 18th, 2012 by Steven J. Bell in About ACRL No Comments

ACRL is undertaking an important initiative to better understand how to engage members in the issues of intellectual freedom and professional ethics, core organizational values articulated in ACRL’s Plan for Excellence. I’ve charged a task force with making recommendations to the Board so that ACRL can ensure we have the right resources and structures to contribute to conversations about these values in academic libraries.

As an initial step, we’re asking all ACRL members to complete a brief survey. Please join me in taking just 5 minutes to make sure your voice is heard.

To sweeten the deal, once you have completed the questionnaire, you may enter your name into a drawing to win a free registration for an ACRL webcast of your choice. Questions? Please get in touch with Janice Welburn, Chair of the ACRL Task Force on the Structure for Core Organizational Values.
