“Implementing Online Teaching and Learning” e-Learning course begins Sept. 10

Learn about state-of-the-art of online teaching and learning technology and its applications.  Register for the ACRL e-Learning course, “Implementing Online Teaching and Learning: Using Moodle and Other Web 2.0 Features,” offered September 10-October 5, 2012.

This multi-week course will help you identify, evaluate, and choose appropriate distance education/Web-based teaching technologies within the context of a good instructional design plan.  This course is primarily asynchronous and requires a significant amount of hands-on learning-activities, project work, and readings.  This work will result in a completed instructional unit e.g., short course/workshop/tutorial implemented on the teachers Moodle LMS or on an LMS or simple Web site of your choice.  Complete details and registration materials are online.  Contact Margot Conahan at mconahan@ala.org or call (312) 280-2522 with questions.
