1. Describe yourself in three words: Energetic, direct, humorous.

2. What are you reading right now? On my new iPad2, I’m reading The Greater Journey by David McCullough.

3. Describe ACRL in three words: Professional, diverse, standards.

4. Why did you join ACRL? For the opportunity to learn from others within the profession and the wealth of published and online information.

5. What do you value about academic or research librarianship? Our role in teaching and learning and historical preservation.

6. In your own words: I like the words of historian Shelby Foote, “A university is just a group of buildings gathered around a library.”  In my own words, I find it a privilege to contribute to the successes of the four Historically Black Colleges and University that surround my library. And I know that librarianship, done well, is never boring.  (Thanks Mom!)
