May 11th, 2011 by David Free in Conferences No Comments

In conjunction with the ACRL President’s Program at the 2011 ALA Annual Conference, ACRL is holding contest featuring exciting library innovation projects.  Short essay submissions that describe an innovative library enhancement project that is currently in progress or has already been implemented are now available for viewing and comment on the program website.  Add your comments by Friday, May 20, to share your thoughts with the evaluation team and participants prior to judging, but the comments will be left open through the end of June.

Titled “From Idea to Innovation to Implementation: How Teams Make it Happen,” the Annual Conference program will feature Jason Young, author of the book Culturetopia: The Ultimate High-Performance Workplace and an expert on how workplace teams can obtain maximum productivity. The program, hosted by ACRL President Lisa Hinchliffe of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will take place from 10:30 a.m. – noon on Saturday, June 25, 2011.
